There were also reasons to celebrate for both dance fans and blues aficionados, with notable singles released by Freedom Fry, Matty, Weiss, Eli & Fur, Mahalia, Masayoshi Fujita, Flight Facilities, Bob Moses and Buddy Guy.

Four years after their sabbatical, Mazzy Star has surprised us once again with this multi-faceted EP. It comprises the earlier released track, “Quiet, The Winter Harbor” and a reprisal of the dream pop anthem, “So Tonight That I Might See.” If you’re a Mazzy Star fan, this might just make your week!
“I’ll Gladly Place Myself Below You” is taken from Déjà Vu, the debut solo album from BADBADNOTGOOD‘s Matty Tavares. As well as being one of the main producers and writers in BADBADNOTGOOD, Matty also does extensive studio work, including gaining performance and writing credits on tracks from Kaytranada, Post Malone and Kendrick Lamar.
After 50+ song appearances on The Hype Machine and more than 40 syncs in film, TV, and commercials, Freedom Fry has released their debut album. Freedom Fry wrote and produced the entire album with Stewart Cole (from Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros) performing the trumpet. Phillip Peterson, the composer and producer who’s worked with Portugal. The Man, Taylor Swift, and Ed Sheeran, contributed string arrangements.

A really infectious house record here from one of the UK’s finest and most unique producers, ‘Feel My Needs’ hits right on the spot for some nostalgic House music.
